Chance of a flyable day is the share of forecast ensemble members where the site's wind, gust and rain limits hold for long enough inside its flying window. The small line shows every run so far for that day. It covers a model grid cell about 25 km across, not the launch. Check live conditions and make your own call on the day.

How it works

  1. Every morning

A scheduled job pulls the GFS ensemble forecast from Open-Meteo for every site, 14 days ahead.

  2. Scored per site

Each ensemble member is checked hour by hour against the site's wind direction, speed, gust and rain limits.

  3. Logged, not overwritten

Every run is kept, so you can watch a weekend's chances change, and later check how good the forecasts were.
